Technical Consultant Internship

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Consultant Intern to join our team in Century City, Cape Town. The internship is open to candidates with a Matric qualification (or equivalent) who are eager to start a career in cybersecurity and consulting, even without a university degree. You will receive hands‑on training in Managed Services and structured learning in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM).

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support to clients, handling technical issues and troubleshooting requests.
• Work with the Managed Services team to deliver service excellence to clients across the UK and Europe.
• Assist with system monitoring, user administration and access‑management tasks.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of IAM and PAM solutions under supervision.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify and resolve technical challenges efficiently.
• Learn and apply new technologies as part of structured training and mentorship.

Required profile

• Matric qualification, certificate or diploma (no degree required).
• Basic programming experience (e.g., Python, Java or C#).
• Strong interest in cybersecurity, identity security and technology.
• Problem‑solving mindset and good communication skills.
• Willingness to work occasional shift hours to support international clients.
• Bonus: studied Information Technology up to Matric level.
