Team Leader – Sales Call Centre (Private Banking & Wealth Management)

About the role

FNB is looking for a dynamic Team Leader to oversee daily operations of its Sales Call Centre within the Private Banking & Wealth Management Solutions Suite. You will inspire a high‑performing sales team, ensure operational excellence, and drive business growth while delivering exceptional customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and coach a team of Sales Advisors to meet sales, service, quality and productivity targets.
• Manage performance through regular coaching, development plans and performance reviews.
• Maintain strong governance, compliance, risk and process controls to ensure operational excellence.
• Analyse performance data and trends to identify improvement opportunities.
• Build and sustain stakeholder relationships that support business objectives.
• Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, mentoring and career development initiatives.
• Champion change, innovation and continuous improvement across the team.

Required profile

• FSCA‑recognised NQF Level 7 qualification.
• RE5 certification and mandated for Intermediary Sub‑Categories 1.17, 1.18, 1.22.
• Experience supervising employees requiring FAIS supervision, including call evaluations and sign‑offs.
• Previous leadership, mentoring or people‑management experience in a sales call‑centre environment is advantageous.
