Business Sales Consultant - B2B IoT & Telematics

About the role

Tracker Connect is looking for a Business Sales Consultant based at its Head Office in Randburg, reporting to the Business Sales Manager. The role suits a self-starter with an outgoing personality and mature attitude who can communicate confidently at all levels and is currently active in the corporate industry. It focuses on B2B sales in the vehicle fleet environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify opportunities and generate new sales in the corporate sector (B2B)
• Compile and understand legally binding B2B contracts
• Achieve monthly and annual installation targets
• Maintain, manage and develop an existing customer database, aiming for 20% business from first-time customers and 80% from existing ones
• Provide excellent service and support to existing and prospective customers and handle all customer queries and requests
• Maintain product knowledge in IoT and Telematics, assessed by management
• Deliver presentations to stakeholders and manage leads from internal and external partners
• Network and build relationships across business, dealer, broker and fitment centre channels
• Prepare and submit quotations, compile weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports, and meet activity targets set by management

Required profile

• 3 years of sales experience in the B2B/IoT/Telematics industry
• Matric or Grade 12 completion; recognised formal sales training or relevant experience
• Proven track record of sales target achievement
• Valid driver's licence and own vehicle
• Ability to communicate in Afrikaans is an added advantage
