Team Leader – Retail Operations (CRG)

About the role

The CRG Team Leader will support Country Road’s store management in driving profitability and upholding brand behaviours. You will oversee daily operations, lead a functional team, and use data insights to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the department to deliver high‑level customer service and build loyalty.
• Manage exchanges, refunds and till‑point processes, handling customer and telephone queries.
• Maximise sales opportunities by applying selling skills and adhering to brand standards.
• Conduct floor‑walks, allocate tasks and motivate team members to meet individual and department targets.
• Ensure merchandising, displays and marketing activities align with current promotions.
• Analyse data trends, monitor inventory and order fulfilment, and drive operational excellence.
• Identify training needs and support staff development.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification; supply‑chain or related studies advantageous.
• 2‑3 years of practical experience in supply‑chain management, preferably in retail or FMCG.
• Proven supervisory or management experience.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, order fulfilment and compliance standards.
• Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.

• Operation of scanners and other retail technology tools.
