About the role
Absolute Pets, the leading pet retailer in South Africa with over 200 stores, is looking for a passionate and driven Team Leader for one of its growing stores in Centurion. The store specialises in premium pet foods and accessories.
Key responsibilities
- Sales: achieve store sales and gross profit targets
- Visual merchandising management
- Service: set the standard for world-class customer service and help colleagues deliver it
- Stock: ensure the store is fully stocked, place orders accordingly, limit stock loss and shrinkage to below target levels and carry out all admin duties efficiently
- Staff: manage all staff so they perform to expectation, act as a proud brand ambassador and lead by example
- Product knowledge: share expert knowledge of all products with the team
- Personal and team development: use Individual Development Plans (IDPs) to grow yourself and your team, and follow the Absolute Pets culture and values
