Talent Consultant

About the role

Sigma Connected is seeking a driven Talent Consultant to join its in‑house recruitment team in Cape Town. You will act as an internal recruiter, proactively sourcing and headhunting top talent for leadership, specialist and professional services positions.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively headhunt and source high‑quality candidates across a variety of roles.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Manage multiple live vacancies while meeting recruitment targets.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and define success criteria.
• Conduct candidate screening, interviews and assessments.
• Create engaging recruitment campaigns and talent attraction strategies.
• Map talent markets and identify passive candidates within key industries.
• Act as a brand ambassador for Sigma Connected, delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

Required profile

• Previous recruitment agency experience is essential.
• Proven track record of delivering placement, revenue or recruitment targets.
• Strong headhunting and direct sourcing experience, especially via LinkedIn and networking.
• Confidence engaging and influencing candidates at all levels.
• Experience managing multiple assignments in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
• Resilience and ability to thrive under pressure.
