Systems IT Liaison – Motor & Marine

About the role

The Systems IT Liaison – Motor & Marine acts as the primary bridge between the Motor & Marine business units and the IT function. You will ensure that business requirements, processes, reporting and system enhancements are aligned with organisational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide functional support for business systems used in the Motor & Marine environment, resolve user queries and coordinate issue resolution with IT and vendors.
• Identify and document opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements, prepare business cases and functional specifications.
• Gather, analyse, document and prioritise business requirements, translating them into functional system specifications.
• Analyse current business processes, pinpoint gaps and recommend automation or technology solutions.
• Develop test scenarios, coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate system changes before deployment.
• Support new system implementations, upgrades, integrations and digital transformation initiatives.
• Assist with data management and reporting requirements, ensuring accurate and timely information for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Analysis, IT, Commerce, Computer Science or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, IT Liaison or similar role.
• Strong analytical ability to validate data and support business reporting.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, capable of engaging both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
