Systems IT Liaison – Motor & Marine

About the role

The Systems IT Liaison – Motor & Marine will serve as the primary bridge between the Motor & Marine business units and the company’s IT function. Reporting to the General Manager for Motor and Marine, the role ensures that technology solutions align with business objectives and operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact between Motor & Marine users and IT, gathering, analysing and prioritising business requirements.
• Translate business processes into functional system specifications and facilitate communication with vendors and technical teams.
• Analyse existing processes, identify gaps and recommend automation or system improvements.
• Provide functional support for business systems, resolve user queries and coordinate issue resolution with IT and external suppliers.
• Develop business cases and functional specifications for system enhancements and oversee their implementation.
• Design and execute user‑acceptance‑testing scenarios, validate results and ensure successful deployment.
• Support new system roll‑outs, upgrades, integrations and digital transformation initiatives.
• Assist with data validation, reporting, trend analysis and data‑reconciliation activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Analysis, IT, Commerce, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, IT Liaison or similar role.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret data and support reporting requirements.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, capable of engaging both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
