System Administrator (Linux & JBoss)

About the role

We are seeking a System Administrator to maintain and optimise our Linux‑based infrastructure and JBoss application servers. The role focuses on ensuring high availability, performance tuning, and supporting automated build and deployment pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced Linux system administration, including installation, configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Tune and manage JBoss application servers to meet performance and reliability targets.
• Implement configuration management using Chef to standardise server setups.
• Orchestrate CI/CD processes by managing builds and deployments through Bamboo and Bitbucket.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in Linux system administration and JBoss management.
• Hands‑on knowledge of infrastructure automation tools, particularly Chef.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery workflows using Bamboo and Bitbucket.
