Supply Chain Supervisor – Mining Operations

About the role

The Supply Chain Site Supervisor will lead the daily operations of the distribution centre, stores and Hand‑Over Points (HOP) at Mototolo Mine. The role ensures efficient planning, coordination and execution of inventory management, goods movement, receiving, picking, packing, staging and rotables processes while upholding the highest safety and housekeeping standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee all physical supply‑chain activities within the warehouse environment.
• Lead, train and schedule a team of warehouse controllers, monitoring performance and providing feedback.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, conduct VFLs, risk assessments and job safety analyses.
• Manage inventory accuracy, storage, preservation and efficient goods movement.
• Prepare ad‑hoc reports for management and support audit administration.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver excellent customer service.
• Identify improvement opportunities and implement innovative practices to boost warehouse performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising warehouse or supply‑chain teams in a mining or industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, goods handling and rotables processes.
• Ability to enforce safety protocols and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Excellent communication skills and capability to manage labour resources, including shift scheduling and employee relations.
