Supply Chain Optimisation Advisor

About the role

The Supply Chain Optimisation Advisor will support the end‑to‑end optimisation of Kumba Iron Ore’s supply chain. Working across procurement, logistics, warehousing and inventory management, you will analyse data, drive continuous‑improvement projects and ensure alignment with safety, health and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate opportunities to improve supply‑chain efficiency, cost management and service performance.
• Gather, analyse and visualise operational data to support optimisation initiatives.
• Support the implementation of approved projects, monitor progress and report on benefits realised.
• Analyse current processes, develop process maps and standard operating procedures, and conduct root‑cause analysis.
• Compile and maintain dashboards and reports on key performance metrics such as inventory levels, supplier performance and logistics performance.
• Assist with testing, validation and adoption of supply‑chain systems, tools and digital solutions.

• Experience in supporting cross‑functional optimisation projects within a supply‑chain environment.
