Supply Chain Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Supply Chain Operations Manager to own the end‑to‑end wholesale function for a fast‑moving, design‑led greeting‑cards and gifting brand. This is the most critical operational hire, responsible for managing existing retail accounts across multiple regions, opening new accounts, and coordinating product development, sourcing, order processing, freight booking, invoicing and revenue forecasting.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and outreach to new retail buyers, maintaining a structured prospect pipeline.
• Secure at least two major new retail accounts per year in the UK, EU, or USA.
• Manage day‑to‑day relationships with established accounts across off‑price chains, department stores, specialty retailers and online marketplaces.
• Translate buyer requests and market opportunities into clear design briefs for the creative team.
• Source, negotiate and contract with overseas suppliers, process orders, book freight and ensure accurate invoicing.
• Forecast wholesale revenue and maintain meticulous SKU, currency and booking accuracy.
• Leverage AI tools daily to increase speed and quality of work.

Required profile

• Commercially sharp with strong negotiation skills.
• Operationally precise and detail‑oriented; zero tolerance for errors in SKU, currency or deadlines.
• Highly responsive and comfortable interacting with buyers, suppliers and finance teams.
• Enthusiastic about integrating AI into daily workflows.
• Available to work during UK business hours despite remote location.
