Supply & Demand Planner – Remote (South Africa)

About the role

We are a fast‑growing international health and wellness brand expanding across global markets. As a Supply & Demand Planner you will own demand forecasting, supply planning and inventory optimisation for multiple warehouse locations, working remotely from South Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Develop demand forecasts using historical sales data, promotional calendars and commercial inputs.
• Build supply plans that align inventory levels with forecasted demand while avoiding overstock and stock‑outs.
• Monitor inventory performance across global warehouses to optimise stock cover.
• Create and maintain operational dashboards and KPI reports to track supply‑chain metrics.
• Collaborate with commercial and marketing teams to incorporate campaign launches and new product introductions into demand models.
• Analyse supply‑chain performance, evaluate supplier performance and build contingency plans.
• Refine forecasting methodologies and establish SOPs to streamline inventory planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning or inventory forecasting within FMCG, retail or e‑commerce.
• Proven track record managing supply planning and inventory forecasting across multiple warehouse locations.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel (PivotTables, Power Query).
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems (e.g., Cin7).
• Experience with inventory management tools.
• Familiarity with Power BI or similar business‑intelligence platforms.
