Supply Chain Analyst – Financial & Operational Planning

About the role

The Supply Chain Analyst will act as a trusted business partner for the Site Production teams, providing financial insight and analysis to support fact‑based decision making and cost management across the PP&L, Cellars and Packaging units.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with production teams, offering financial advice based on detailed analysis of operations.
• Support the site’s business planning cycle, including strategic, annual and latest estimates.
• Prepare and analyse monthly results, delivering management reports with commentaries, KPIs, graphs and benchmarks.
• Monitor performance against standards such as OEE, O/T, costing and SAP routing, recommending improvements.
• Analyse weekly and monthly production order variances, issue early warnings and advise corrective actions.
• Ensure the integrity of accounting records, P&L and balance‑sheet data through regular controls.
• Review and strengthen short‑term interval controls and overall financial control processes.
• Conduct monthly audits, support stock verification and manage capital‑expenditure documentation.
• Participate in cross‑site audits, stock takes and identify slow‑moving or obsolete inventory.
• Develop financial competency within the business unit at level 2 & 3.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Experience working closely with production or manufacturing teams.
• Good understanding of cost accounting, P&L and balance‑sheet concepts.
• Familiarity with performance metrics such as OEE and O/T.
