Student Marketeer - East London

About the role

Red Bull is looking for a Student Marketeer for its brand ambassador programme in East London. Student Marketeers act as brand ambassadors on campus and in their region, reaching new consumers among university students, increasing sales and managing the brand at student level. The role is part-time and suits someone who values flexibility over a 9 to 5 job and enjoys a creative working atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the brand in a premium way in everyday interactions with consumers and customers, and invite product trials through sampling at the right place and time.
• Build and run a tailored campus plan that engages students and brings the brand to life at university.
• Create a strong network with key local individuals and drive brand engagement on personal social media with authentic content.
• Work at Red Bull events and supported events to deliver an unforgettable brand experience.
• Build relationships with local sales account managers so Red Bull stays available and visible in outlets, and collaborate with sales to open new distribution points on and around campus.
• Use Red Bull assets to keep the brand top of mind in sales accounts and ensure store standards are followed.
• Report activities accurately and on time through the dedicated online platform, share ideas with the team and contribute local insights to the media business.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills, charismatic, energetic, approachable and able to relate to different people.
• Immersed in student life, with a thorough understanding of the university, city and region, including behind-the-scenes activities and hot spots.
• Creative mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, responsibility and initiative.
• Affinity for marketing, negotiation and sales, and a passion for the Red Bull brand and product.
• Ability to manage part-time work and studies, ideally available for some evenings and weekends; driver's license preferred.
• Team player with event and project management skills, and openness to learning new skills.
