Strategy Consultant – Talent Pool

About the role

Join the South African Technology & Innovation Centre (SATIC), part of PwC, as a Strategy Consultant in the talent pool. You will work on public‑sector strategy projects, using research, analysis and structured problem‑solving to help clients navigate complex challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of strategy projects for public‑sector clients through research, analysis and hypothesis testing.
• Develop and present strategic recommendations grounded in robust evidence and client engagement.
• Conduct desk research, interviews and data analysis to generate actionable insights.
• Prepare slide decks, reports and other deliverables that clearly communicate findings.
• Assist business development activities, including proposal writing and client meetings.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging trends, policies and reforms across the UK public sector.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in any field; a master’s degree is desirable.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a strategy or policy role, preferably in the public sector or consultancy.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, adaptable to different audiences and seniority levels.
• Ability to work effectively in teams on multiple projects under tight deadlines.
