About the role
The Store Assistant and Cashier will ensure accurate scanning of merchandise, safe cash handling, and deliver excellent customer service while promoting store promotions.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain high accuracy when scanning items and processing payments.
- Handle cash safely at all times.
- Inform customers about promotions to boost sales.
- Act as a brand ambassador, providing friendly and professional service.
- Execute merchandising and housekeeping duties to store visual standards.
- Stay updated on product ranges, promotions, and events to advise customers.
Required profile
- Grade 12 qualification.
- Retail/FMCG experience with knowledge of merchandising and promotions.
- Understanding of stock management procedures.
- Commitment to customer service excellence.
