Stock Controller

About the role

A full-time Stock Controller position based at a local facility in Rooihuiskraal, Centurion, within an established operational setup. The role links procurement, warehouse execution and internal teams by managing end-to-end inventory workflows, running systematic audits and keeping stock accurate. It suits a detail-oriented, organised professional with strong analytical problem-solving skills.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain stock levels, covering receiving, storing, issuing and tracking goods accurately.
• Run regular stock audits, cyclic checks and planned stocktakes to minimise discrepancies, shrinkage and losses.
• Compare received goods against purchase orders, process new stock entries and coordinate timely stock replenishment.
• Update inventory systems, maintain stock records and generate reports on inventory levels, usage and variances.
• Organise the stock layout for optimal space use, ensure proper storage conditions and work with warehouse staff on daily operations.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, record inaccuracies and physical losses, and liaise with suppliers and internal teams on procurement.

Required profile

• Proven history of success in stock control, inventory management or warehouse administration.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills across suppliers, warehouse teams and internal departments.
• Availability to work full-time on-site in Rooihuiskraal, Centurion.
• Written and spoken fluency in Afrikaans.
• Desirable: previous forklift experience and physical fitness for active inventory monitoring and audits.
