Specialist Solution Analyst

About the role

Work as part of a DevOps team, leveraging specialist analysis and testing tools, frameworks, techniques and practices to elicit, define and organise business requirements. Translate and document those requirements into full‑stack, cross‑system user stories and specifications, highlighting integration points, business risks and opportunities. Collaborate with squads throughout design and delivery, taking responsibility for manual application testing processes, frameworks and outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively build relationships and apply analytical techniques to elicit and validate business needs ahead of demand.
• Implement routines to become an expert in various business processes and translate insights into user stories.
• Prepare and prioritise the backlog of requirements linked to proposed solutions.
• Work with Tribe Leads to build roadmaps and visions for products and services.
• Define measures of success, key outcomes and testing requirements (pass/fail test cases).
• Support development of detailed business cases and translate business requirements into system requirements.
• Leverage business analysis and modelling tools to ensure integrated requirements are understood and approved.
• Facilitate resolution during development and testing phases, defining manual testing strategies and leading the testing process.
• Provide real‑time feedback to DevOps teams, monitor system stability and resilience, and support developers and users during user acceptance testing.
• Coach, mentor and conduct peer reviews within the broader DevOps team.
