Solution Architect – Cloud & Hosting Services

About the role

The Solution Architect will work closely with customers to gather technical requirements, design cloud and hosting infrastructure, and produce solution proposals that support the sales process. This role bridges business needs with technical delivery, ensuring high‑quality consultancy throughout the customer journey.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the interface between customers, commercial teams and technical groups, translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Provide solution‑focused consultancy for property developers, SMEs, business partners and retail customers.
• Support sales and presales activities, analysing complex requirements and responding to RFI/RFP documents.
• Deliver presentations on emerging technologies and their impact on client environments.
• Identify opportunities for new solutions or product development and contribute to architecture design.
• Maintain productive relationships with key clients, internal product and engineering teams, suppliers and partners.
• Assist customers before, during and after solution implementation.

Required profile

• 3‑year degree in IT or Engineering (essential).
• 5‑10 years of relevant experience in IT or engineering.
• In‑depth knowledge of technology architecture domains and convergence (preferred).
• Industry certifications such as Cisco CCDP/CCNP/CCIE, CISSP or similar (preferred).
• Practical experience deploying LAN, WAN and Unified Communications solutions (advantageous).
