Network Security Engineer

About the role

Jurumani Solutions is seeking a Network Security Engineer to protect converged telecom networks for corporate clients. You will work in a Customer Services Operations Centre, delivering high‑level service assurance and frontline defence against security threats.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality service assurance to enterprise customers.
• Support and host technical environments across a converged network infrastructure.
• Manage, optimise and update perimeter firewall services.
• Report, analyse and escalate security incidents with speed and precision.
• Liaise directly with clients on security events and fault resolution.
• Drive incident resolution following ITIL best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and leadership teams.

Required profile

• IT Diploma or B.Sc. in IT, Computer Science or Technical Engineering.
• Fortinet NSE4 certification.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• At least 3 years in complex IP routing and switching environments.
• Minimum 2 years in a service‑provider setting focused on security.

Required skills

• Fortinet NSE4 (and preferably NSE7) certification.
• IP routing knowledge.
• Network switching expertise.
• Perimeter firewall management.
• Siebel SRM for update management.
• ITIL incident‑resolution processes.
