Software Engineering Lead – AI‑First SaaS Team

About the role

We are looking for a passionate leader to head an AI‑first engineering team that builds modern, cloud‑based SaaS solutions. In this role you will combine hands‑on technical work with people management to deliver secure, scalable software that drives real impact for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Leverage AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Codex or GitHub Copilot to plan, build, test, debug and document production software.
• Define guardrails for AI‑generated code, including repository instructions, review standards, security expectations and automated checks.
• Guide ideas from discovery through design, implementation, validation, release and continuous improvement.
• Design and implement web‑based SaaS features using C#.NET, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL and modern architecture patterns.
• Build automated unit, integration, API, contract and end‑to‑end tests.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, branching strategies, release practices and containerized delivery with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop secure, observable Azure services using Key Vault, Application Insights, Service Bus, Application Gateway, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB and Azure Storage.
• Coach and develop direct reports, conduct performance reviews, and raise engineering standards through mentoring and design reviews.

Required profile

• Proven software engineering experience delivering complex production systems.
• Demonstrated experience managing and growing engineering teams, including hiring, coaching and performance management.
• Strong ability to balance technical depth with strategic leadership.
