Software Engineer

About the role

Fidelity Services Group is seeking a hands‑on Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain secure, scalable and reliable software solutions that support business‑critical operations. The role is ideal for an experienced professional who enjoys solving complex technical problems and collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, deploy and maintain high‑quality software applications.
• Translate business and stakeholder requirements into technical specifications and practical solutions.
• Contribute to software architecture with focus on scalability, performance, maintainability and extensibility.
• Troubleshoot complex defects and implement sustainable fixes.
• Conduct code reviews, promote coding standards and testing practices.
• Develop and maintain technical specifications, system designs and documentation.
• Collaborate with product, design, QA and other teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement.
• Apply secure development principles and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Support production reliability, monitoring and incident resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience designing and developing complex software applications.
• Strong proficiency in one or more languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies, version control and testing frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated ability to guide and mentor junior engineers.
