Social Media & Marketing Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Social Media & Marketing Assistant to support a U.S.-based accounting and advisory firm that serves nonprofit organizations and mental‑health practices. The role focuses on digital marketing execution, brand building, and social media content management.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, create, and schedule high‑quality LinkedIn and Facebook posts (3‑4 per week) that translate complex finance topics into engaging copy.
• Design visual assets such as graphics, carousels, and text posts using Canva.
• Maintain a consistent content calendar and manage YouTube workflows, including uploads and basic optimization.
• Monitor and engage with followers to grow community presence.
• Track and report key metrics (engagement, reach, audience growth) and provide bi‑weekly performance updates.
• Analyze social media trends and competitor strategies within the professional‑services space.

Required profile

• 1+ years managing social media for a professional‑services or B2B brand.
• 2+ years in digital marketing, copywriting, or content creation.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• High attention to detail and an eye for clean, modern design.
• Familiarity with nonprofit, social‑impact, or professional‑services sectors.

Required skills

• LinkedIn and Facebook page management.
• Scheduling tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite or Metricool.
• Graphic design with Canva (or similar).
• Basic YouTube channel workflows (uploads, thumbnails, descriptions).
