Social Media Manager

About the role

We are looking for a creative and organised Social Media Manager to own the online presence of a successful independent estate agency in the UK. Working fully remotely, you will be the voice of the brand across multiple platforms, turning property listings, sales and day‑to‑day agency life into engaging content.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and publish content on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok.
• Create posts that showcase new listings, sold properties and client success stories.
• Write captions and copy that align with the agency’s brand voice.
• Edit video walkthroughs, reels and other property videos.
• Touch‑up and edit property photography for listings and marketing material.
• Monitor engagement, respond to comments and messages, and grow followers.
• Track performance metrics and report on social media results.
• Support and optimise paid ad campaigns when required.
• Stay up‑to‑date with social media trends and adapt content accordingly.
• Coordinate with marketing and sales teams on campaigns and maintain content calendars.
• Write blog posts for the agency website and keep the site updated.
• Update property listings on portals and produce property brochures.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of social media experience, preferably in real‑estate or related sectors.
• Strong copywriting skills with an eye for design.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Based in South Africa with reliable internet and a quiet home office.
