Social, Content & Paid Media Manager / PR Representative

About the role

We are seeking a creative and strategic marketing professional to lead social, content, paid media and public relations activities for a diverse portfolio of brands. The role is fully remote but requires the candidate to be based in Cape Town and attend occasional meetings, shoots and events.

Key responsibilities

• Create high‑quality website copy, blog articles, newsletters, social posts, press releases and marketing collateral, adapting tone for each brand.
• Develop and manage monthly social media calendars, write engaging captions, schedule posts on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and X, and monitor community interaction.
• Plan, launch and optimise paid social campaigns on Google, Meta and LinkedIn, handling budgets, audience targeting, A/B testing and performance reporting.
• Draft press releases and media pitches, build relationships with journalists, influencers and media partners, and compile coverage reports.
• Support integrated marketing campaigns, coordinate with designers, photographers and external suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field.
• Proven experience in content creation, social media management, paid digital advertising and media relations.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
