Site Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Site Engineer to lead facilities, maintenance, utilities and site services within a manufacturing environment. The role ensures equipment reliability, operational uptime and a safe, compliant workplace while driving engineering improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead equipment maintenance and reliability programmes, implementing preventive and planned maintenance systems.
• Manage machine breakdowns, conduct root‑cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Support automation, PLC and production technology, including installation, commissioning and optimisation.
• Oversee site utilities such as electrical, HVAC, compressed air and water systems.
• Manage facilities, infrastructure and external contractor services.
• Ensure compliance with safety, GMP and operational standards.
• Supervise site services including security, cleaning, waste and pest control.
• Lead engineering and continuous‑improvement projects and develop maintenance KPIs and reporting.
• Implement and maintain a CMMS and related maintenance processes.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Hands‑on experience with automated equipment, PLCs, sensors, drives and control systems.
• Proven track record of implementing maintenance systems and managing technical projects and contractors.
• Degree in Mechatronic Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical and project‑management capabilities.
