About the role
A prominent financial services provider has an exciting career opportunity for an experienced Short Term Insurance Underwriter to join their dynamic team in George, Western Cape. This is a permanent, office‑based role offering a lucrative salary and competitive benefits.
Key responsibilities
- Quote, underwrite and renew commercial and personal insurance policies.
- Service and manage commercial and personal insurance portfolios, ensuring compliance with policy wording and corporate systems.
Required profile
- Minimum matriculation; tertiary qualification advantageous.
- At least 5 years experience in financial services, including 3 years underwriting commercial and personal lines.
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English (spoken, read, written).
Required skills
- Santam Policy Centre approved user.
- Knowledge of Mutlimark III policy wording.
- Proficiency with insurance corporate management systems.
- Advanced MS Office suite.
