About the role
We are looking for a motivated, target‑driven Short‑Term Insurance Broker to join our team in Pretoria. The broker will prospect, acquire and service short‑term insurance clients, providing tailored advice and solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve monthly minimum targets for new business.
- Identify client needs and recommend appropriate short‑term insurance coverage.
- Obtain quotations from multiple insurance providers.
- Conduct face‑to‑face discussions with clients.
- Provide accurate, comprehensive advice on insurance requirements.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of potential opportunities.
- Work with inbound leads supplied by contact‑centre agents and internal departments; no cold‑calling required.
Required profile
- Matriculation certificate.
- RE5 certification.
- NQF Level 4 or 5 qualification (minimum 120 credits).
- Class of business certificates for personal and commercial lines.
- Proven experience handling both personal and commercial insurance lines.
- Own vehicle and a valid driver’s licence.
