Service Manager

About the role

Our client is seeking a Service Manager who will take full responsibility for services at the branch, overseeing asset management, customer liaison and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Full responsibility for services within the branch, including asset management and vehicle maintenance.
• Supervise loading and unloading of stock, manage stock and warehouse control, and oversee contract consumables.
• Coordinate customer visits, problem solving and ensure timely service delivery using handheld devices.
• Implement health and safety procedures in collaboration with the H&S representative and maintain client safety files.
• Manage installations, maintenance tickets, withdrawals and monitor key performance indicators.
• Oversee staff training, distribution staff management and conduct employee medicals and inductions for site access.
• Attend meetings at customer sites and perform other reasonable tasks as required.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification; Operations Management Diploma advantageous.
• Minimum 2 years’ management/leadership experience; HR/IR experience beneficial.
• At least 2 years’ service management experience.
• Valid Code 08 driver’s licence.
