Regional Procurement Manager

About the role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Regional Procurement Manager to lead procurement strategy, supplier management and the sourcing of raw materials and packaging. The successful candidate will optimise procurement costs, ensure continuity of supply, manage supplier relationships and drive savings initiatives while providing strategic input to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Source and manage suppliers of quality raw materials and packaging at competitive costs.
• Develop and maintain a BEE‑compliant supplier base.
• Monitor stock levels, forecast requirements and ensure timely supply.
• Manage and reduce raw material and packaging wastage.
• Establish and maintain effective supplier contracts and relationships.
• Manage procurement budgets and financial controls.
• Identify and drive cost‑saving and optimisation opportunities.
• Advise senior leadership on risks, savings and alternative sourcing options.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Proven experience in sourcing, supplier relationship management and contract negotiation.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Previous leadership and team management experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with procurement systems/software.
• Microsoft Office suite.
