Service Advisor - Clicks Dobsonville

About the role

Clicks Group is recruiting a Service Advisor for its Dobsonville store in Soweto. The main purpose of the position is to ensure service excellence at the point of sale through fast, efficient customer service and effective management of point-of-sale operations. The successful candidate directs and controls operational activities at the checkout area, supervises shop assistants and cashiers and represents Clicks professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and control point-of-sale activities so that transactions are completed efficiently and in line with company procedures
• Manage cash and stock safely, enforce security measures, cash controls, returns policies and administrative procedures to minimise shrinkage
• Supervise shop assistants and cashiers, make sure they are trained, competent and motivated, and schedule enough staff according to work schedules and labour legislation
• Resolve customer enquiries promptly and professionally, and promote the Clicks ClubCard programme to support participation targets
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and keep employees up to date on product knowledge, promotions and events

Required profile

• Completed Grade 12
• External applicants must hold a relevant Retail or Business Management qualification
• Ability to supervise retail operations effectively
