SEO Strategist

About the role

We are looking for an SEO Strategist to manage a portfolio of three to four international clients, develop revenue‑driving SEO strategies and own the end‑to‑end performance of each account. The role is fully remote, operates mainly during South African business hours and embraces AI‑enhanced processes.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, leading Zoom calls, responding to emails and ensuring clear communication of SEO impact.
• Design and execute clever, revenue‑focused SEO strategies aligned with client goals and oversee the monthly work plan.
• Present complex data in simple terms, delivering actionable insights that build client confidence.
• Apply deep expertise in E‑E‑A‑T and on‑page optimisation to improve rankings and authority.
• Produce insight‑driven monthly reports using GA4, Google Search Console, Accuranker and Looker Studio, highlighting wins and next steps.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of agency‑based SEO experience.
• At least three client SEO case studies you can share.
• University degree.
• Demonstrated curiosity about AI’s impact on search and a habit of continuous learning.

Required skills

• SEO and on‑page optimisation, including E‑E‑A‑T principles.
• Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console.
• Accuranker, Looker Studio, Screaming Frog.
• Google Tag Manager and basic HTML.
• Proficiency with AI tools to enhance SEO efficiency.
