SEO Executive

About the role

Go Up is seeking a capable, self‑motivated SEO Executive to join its growing Cape Town team. You will work on an international client portfolio, primarily serving clients in the UK, Europe and the USA, and collaborate closely with both local and UK‑based SEO teams.

Key responsibilities

• Execute SEO and AI SEO tasks across multiple client accounts, including on‑page optimisation, keyword research and technical audits.
• Support Cape Town and UK Account Managers in campaign delivery and monitor performance using Ahrefs, Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Contribute to monthly client reports and ensure all work adheres to Go Up’s white‑hat standards.
• Participate in client calls and Google Meet sessions as needed.
• Liaise with the UK link‑building, PR, content and UX teams to align SEO recommendations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of agency SEO experience (non‑negotiable).
• Proven track record of contributing to SEO campaigns.
• Native‑level written and spoken English.
• Organised, proactive and comfortable working remotely.
• Desirable: experience producing client‑facing reports and exposure to link‑building, content marketing or technical SEO projects.
