International SEO, GEO and Content Manager (Technical)

About the role

Visas.pt is expanding its global presence and seeks a technically‑hands‑on International SEO, GEO and Content Manager. You will own the organic growth strategy across multiple countries, blending content creation, technical SEO, and automation to reach both traditional search engines and AI‑powered answer platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an international SEO and GEO strategy for dozens of country‑specific domains.
• Conduct keyword, competitor, search‑intent and audience‑question research across search engines, AI platforms and online communities.
• Create and manage country‑specific content plans, author authoritative guides, comparison pages and interactive tools.
• Ensure content is structured for discoverability by Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot and other AI crawlers.
• Collaborate with immigration lawyers, tax experts and other specialists to verify legally sensitive information before publication.
• Design and maintain content templates that display sources, authors, reviewers and verification dates.
• Automate recurring SEO tasks and build small scripts or tools to improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in international SEO, content strategy and technical implementation.
• Hands‑on attitude with a preference for building automated solutions over repetitive manual work.
• Ability to work with legal and immigration professionals to ensure content accuracy.
• Strong English writing skills and attention to detail.
