Digital Advertising Specialist

About the role

Mitchell & Stones is seeking an experienced Digital Advertising Specialist to own paid advertising strategy and delivery for a portfolio of clients. You will manage campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Meta and LinkedIn, guiding them from research and strategy through to launch, optimisation and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop paid advertising strategies for new and existing clients.
• Manage campaigns on Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Meta and LinkedIn.
• Conduct keyword, audience, competitor and market research.
• Produce realistic media plans, budgets and performance forecasts.
• Build, launch and optimise campaigns, including copywriting and creative briefs.
• Monitor budgets, spend and performance against agreed objectives.
• Set up and maintain accurate conversion tracking using Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.
• Analyse search terms, bidding strategies, audiences, placements and landing‑page performance.
• Prepare clear monthly reports, recommendations and present them directly to clients.
• Collaborate with Account Managers, SEO Specialists and Design Team to align tactics with broader business goals.

Required profile

• Proactive ownership of accounts with the ability to identify risks and propose solutions.
• Strong commercial judgement – able to link campaign metrics to client business objectives.
• Comfortable challenging internal teams and client assumptions when data supports alternative approaches.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting strategies and performance updates.
