About the role
Barrick Gold Corporation is seeking a Senior Underground Mine Planner to lead long‑ to medium‑term planning for safe and optimized underground operations in Johannesburg. The role will drive the development of planning capability across the Africa & Middle East region, emphasizing practical execution and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee regional underground mine planning to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
- Lead the creation and enhancement of planning processes and tools for the Africa & Middle East region.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering.
- More than 10 years of experience in underground mine planning, including use of planning software and optimization models.
