Senior Technology Consultant

About the role

Prophet Apps is looking for a skilled Senior Technology Consultant to provide comprehensive technical support across its IT systems, cloud platforms and hosting environments. The role combines infrastructure and application support, focusing on Microsoft technologies, modern networking and cloud administration.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network issues promptly.
• Provide technical assistance for desktop and server infrastructure, software installations and hosting environment setups.
• Administer Microsoft Azure services including Azure AD, virtual machines, networking, storage, backups, monitoring and cost optimisation.
• Manage hybrid identity environments integrating on‑premises Active Directory with Azure.
• Support Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive and endpoint security.
• Implement and maintain virtualization platforms (VMware or Hyper‑V) and perform infrastructure upgrades and migrations.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, availability and security across on‑prem and cloud environments.
• Support backup, disaster recovery and endpoint protection solutions and work with service‑desk platforms.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support or service delivery.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure administration (certification advantageous).
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, hybrid identity and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Background in supporting virtualised environments (VMware and/or Hyper‑V).
• Solid understanding of modern networking fundamentals and security principles.
