Senior Systems Administrator - Networks and Virtualization

About the role

Sagan Recruitment is hiring a Senior Systems Administrator for a remote position based in South Africa. The role supports multi-site systems administration with expert networking and hypervisor skills, working full-time on a Monday-to-Friday schedule. The exact schedule is set after hire, between 6 AM and 8 PM US Pacific Time. Compensation is discussed during selection.

Key responsibilities

• Administer systems in a multi-site environment.
• Manage and troubleshoot networks, including Ubiquiti or UniFi hardware.
• Support virtualization infrastructure using Citrix XenServer or VMware.

Required profile

• 4+ years of systems administration experience in a multi-site environment.
• Proven hands-on experience in at least two of: Ubiquiti or UniFi networking, hypervisors, Citrix XenServer, VMware, Nutanix, Citrix front-end, or Storage Area Networks.
• Excellent professional English; expert networking and hypervisor administration are valued.
