Senior Project Manager

About the role

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading large, complex, or multi‑workstream technology engagements. You will own the integrated plan, manage commercial aspects, and maintain senior stakeholder relationships while ensuring delivery governance.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of major workstreams or a portfolio of projects, including integrated planning and critical path management.
• Lead delivery governance activities such as steering‑committee preparation, executive status reporting, stage‑gate reviews, and escalation handling.
• Manage project commercials, including budget tracking, forecasting, resource planning, invoicing milestones, and change‑request impact.
• Maintain senior client‑side stakeholder relationships, negotiate priorities, and resolve conflicts constructively.
• Drive strategic risk management, anticipate delivery risks, define mitigation strategies, and manage contingencies.
• Coach, mentor, and quality‑assure Project Managers and Scrum Masters, establishing delivery standards and templates.
• Oversee vendor and subcontractor performance against SLAs and contractual commitments.
• Contribute to account growth by identifying opportunities, supporting proposals, and shaping delivery solutions for new scope.

Required profile

• 12+ years of IT experience with at least 6 years managing complex, multi‑team technology projects or small programs.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale data platforms, cloud, AI, or application builds end‑to‑end.
• Strong commercial management expertise, including budgets, forecasts, margins, and contract change‑request handling.
• Executive‑level communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience leading and developing other Project Managers.
