Senior Project Manager – FMCG (Contract)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the end‑to‑end transition of IT services, infrastructure and business systems for a global tech client’s office in Sandton. The role is contract‑based and hybrid, offering the chance to manage complex IT transformation projects within the fast‑moving FMCG sector.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver the full migration of IT services, networks, applications and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, timelines and resource allocations.
• Manage domain migrations, tenant consolidations and network configuration activities.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely delivery of milestones.
• Monitor project risks, issues and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies.
• Provide regular status reports and presentations to senior leadership.
• Oversee post‑transition stabilization and handover to operational support teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager in transition, migration or integration projects.
• Strong understanding of networking principles and IT infrastructure.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and migrations.
• Experience with domain migrations and tenant consolidation.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and analytical skills.
