Senior Project Manager – 12‑month contract

About the role

We are looking for a versatile Senior Project Manager to lead medium‑sized strategic projects for a banking client. The role spans IT, engineering and property environments, requiring a blend of traditional governance and deep Agile expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of medium‑sized projects, ensuring scope, budget, governance and timelines are met.
• Partner with Product Managers to translate epics and stories into sprint tasks, run weekly facilitation and retrospectives, and coach junior staff on Agile best practices.
• Map and engage diverse stakeholder groups, lead change impact assessments and provide transparent reporting using quality metrics.
• Control financials and scope through accurate cost estimation, budget management, resource allocation and benefit traceability.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of project management experience on cross‑functional initiatives.
• Deep operational knowledge of Agile frameworks, backlog refinement and software delivery mechanics.
• Proven ability to navigate complex corporate environments, facilitate diverse groups and manage change cycles.
• Strong commercial acumen in scoping, resource allocation, budget management and governance.
