Senior Product & Process Engineer – Flat Wire

About the role

The client, a market leader in the feed conveying sector, is looking for a Senior Product & Process Engineer to own the Flat Wire product line. The role will drive manufacturing efficiency, lead capacity‑expansion projects and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives from concept to shop‑floor.

Key responsibilities

• Take end‑to‑end engineering ownership of the Flat Wire product range, ensuring process stability and efficiency.
• Identify and implement cost‑of‑sales reductions and yield improvements through engineering changes, raw‑material qualification and advanced manufacturing methods.
• Collaborate with Design & Automation teams to upgrade machinery and introduce new technologies.
• Work with Quality teams to maintain high customer standards and documentation.
• Analyse production data, remove bottlenecks and lead capacity‑expansion projects to increase throughput.
• Develop and maintain process specifications, engineering standards and manufacturing documentation.

Required profile

• BEng in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• 5–8 years of manufacturing experience with a strong focus on process engineering and continuous improvement.
• Proven track record of leading engineering projects from concept through shop‑floor implementation.
• Demonstrated ability to reduce Cost of Sales and improve product profitability.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, deep understanding of machinery and production systems, and a hands‑on engineering approach.
