Senior Process Engineer

About the role

The Senior Process Engineer will work with business units and project teams to identify and improve complex business processes and performance. Using BPM techniques and tools, the role supports managers in discovering, assessing and delivering process transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define scope, estimates and deliverables for process initiatives following the project delivery methodology.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and design end‑to‑end process improvements.
• Conduct As‑Is and To‑Be analyses, create process models (EPC/BPMN/UML) and develop business cases with ROI calculations.
• Develop and implement process measurement analytics, linking value‑chain processes to corporate performance metrics.
• Manage change‑management activities, communication plans and mitigation strategies for cross‑organizational impacts.
• Work with data architects to define data flows, transformation and interface requirements, and stay current on emerging BPM and RPA technologies.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of experience in business process management, change management and process improvement.
• 3‑5 years of managerial experience leading small‑to‑medium transformation projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Business or related field (NQF 7).
• Relevant certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, CBPP or Business Analysis are preferred.
