Senior Mobile Developer (Flutter)

About the role

The Senior Mobile Developer (Flutter) will lead the design, development, and maintenance of Sun International’s cross‑platform mobile applications. Working within the Client & Mobile Experience team, you will ensure a high‑performance, engaging player experience on both iOS and Android in a regulated iGaming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the mobile application architecture using Flutter and Dart.
• Implement features for game lobbies, live betting, player wallets, promotions, and responsible‑gaming controls.
• Integrate REST, GraphQL and WebSocket APIs, handling authentication and offline caching.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines (Codemagic, Fastlane, Azure DevOps) and manage app store submissions.
• Monitor crash analytics and performance with Firebase and Sentry, applying security best practices.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver responsive, accessible interfaces.

Required profile

• 8+ years of mobile development experience, with at least 3 years of production Flutter apps.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical thinking and agile mindset.
• Experience in regulated sectors such as iGaming or fintech is a plus.

Required skills

• Flutter & Dart (widget design, state management – Bloc, Riverpod, Provider).
• iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) platform knowledge for channel integration.
• API integration (REST, GraphQL, WebSockets) and authentication (OAuth 2.0, JWT).
• CI/CD tools: Codemagic, Fastlane, Azure DevOps, Bitrise.
• Firebase services: Crashlytics, Analytics, Remote Config, Cloud Messaging.
• Mobile testing: unit, widget, integration tests.
• Mobile security: secure storage, certificate pinning, biometrics.
• Push notifications, deep linking, localisation and multi‑currency support.
