Senior Microsoft Dynamics CRM Engineer

About the role

OneDome, a UK-based housing and fintech technology platform, is hiring a Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Engineer for its engineering team in Cape Town. The role is office-based in the CBD, on-site, with UK-aligned hours Monday to Friday (10am-7pm in winter, 11am-8pm in summer) and reports to the VP of Engineering. The engineer designs, builds and scales enterprise-grade solutions across model-driven and Canvas apps, leads integrations, refines UIs, builds custom components and delivers secure, performant data experiences in Dataverse.

Key responsibilities

• Customize model-driven apps (forms, views, command bar/ribbon, Business Process Flows) with clean, maintainable patterns
• Build responsive, accessible Canvas apps with robust Power Fx logic and good UX
• Develop reusable PCF controls (TypeScript/React), including dataset and field components with unit tests
• Create plugins, custom workflow activities and custom actions in C# (real-time and async)
• Pull and transform conditional data via FetchXML, OData, Web API and QueryExpression with security-aware filtering
• Integrate with internal and third-party systems through REST/Graph APIs and Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus)
• Manage solution deployment, CI/CD in Azure DevOps, environment strategy and versioning
• Implement standards-compliant JavaScript/TypeScript for form logic, validation and UX polish
• Maintain tables, relationships, keys and business rules, and apply roles, field-level security, auditing and DLP
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize plugins, PCF, queries and Canvas apps, and document work clearly

Required profile

• 5+ years delivering production systems on Dynamics 365/Dataverse and the Power Platform
• Proven delivery of secure, reliable integrations using Azure Functions/Logic Apps/Service Bus and REST/Graph APIs
• Solid ALM expertise with Azure DevOps (repos, CI/CD pipelines, automated solution deployments)
• Deep understanding of solution layering, dependencies, upgrades and migrations
• Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills, fluent English spoken and written
• Nice to have: virtual tables, custom connectors, event-driven patterns, Power Automate at scale, unit/integration testing, licensing and governance knowledge, and Microsoft certifications such as PL-400, PL-600 and MB-260
