Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition Operations
Boldr · Cape Town
Job description
About the role
Boldr is a global B-Corp connecting people with common values, and this role makes its recruiting engine run. You will own the systems, data and planning that let recruiters hire faster and better at scale, without running requisitions yourself. You will plan capacity, build talent pools, roll out in-house tools and reporting, and lead the team.
Key responsibilities
- Capacity and workforce planning across South Africa, the Philippines and Mexico, turning client forecasts and attrition trends into hiring demand models and recruiter load plans, and flagging resourcing risks early.
- Client and demand intelligence: build a deep knowledge of the client portfolio and design talent pool strategies for recurring and high-volume roles.
- AI tools and automation: roll out, adopt and optimise ACE (assessments) and Echo (AI first-round screening), build warm talent pools, map workflows and source automations, and test new recruiting technology.
- Process and workflow design: create simple, consistent ways of working from intake to offer, and own documentation, playbooks and governance that are audit-ready and compliant with SOC 2, ISO 27001 and data-privacy obligations.
- Data, reporting and systems: own TA dashboards (funnel health, time to hire, quality of hire, tool adoption, productivity), turn data into insights for leadership and clients, and own the ATS/HRIS setup and Rippling rollout.
- Team enablement and leadership: lead TA Operations including Recruiting Ops, train recruiters, represent TA in leadership and client conversations, and step in for the Director when needed.
Required profile
- 7+ years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition or Operations, including leadership of recruitment teams across multiple regions or business units.
- Proven experience leading workforce planning, recruitment operations and capacity management in high-growth environments.
- Experience managing executive stakeholders and taking part in client-facing hiring strategy discussions and escalations.
- Experience leading large-scale hiring initiatives and developing scalable recruitment strategies.
- Experience leading and developing managers, team leads and recruitment teams.
- Deep understanding of global recruitment practices, talent market trends and operational staffing models.
- Willingness to work US EST hours on a flexible schedule.
Required skills
- Proficiency in recruitment systems, reporting tools, AI sourcing technologies and cloud-based collaboration platforms.
- Use of recruitment metrics, forecasting and workforce data to drive decisions.
- Strong analytical and operational leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
