Senior Manager – Hospitality Operations

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager to lead both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house operations for a well‑established hospitality business in Mossel Bay. You will ensure a seamless guest experience while driving operational excellence across all service areas.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee front‑of‑house activities to maintain high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate back‑of‑house operations and support kitchen teams to ensure efficient service flow.
• Lead, motivate and manage staff, enforcing company policies and fostering a professional work environment.
• Handle administrative duties, prepare reports and maintain accurate operational records.
• Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering and inventory control, and follow up on daily operational requirements.
• Assist with staff scheduling, shift planning and ensure appropriate team coverage.
• Resolve high‑pressure situations calmly, making quick decisions to maintain service quality.
• Address staff conflicts and manage performance issues to sustain a productive workplace.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hospitality management, preferably in a senior role.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and solve problems quickly.
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
• Good communication skills for coordinating between front‑ and back‑of‑house teams.
