Senior Key Account Manager – Packaging (Western Cape)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Key Account Manager to lead and expand our packaging portfolio within the retail and manufacturing sectors in the Western Cape. You will work with a well‑known large packaging group, driving sales growth and delivering innovative packaging solutions to senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow an existing portfolio of senior key accounts in retail and manufacturing.
• Promote flexible packaging solutions to maintain and increase turnover and margins.
• Introduce innovative products and keep customers informed of market trends.
• Identify new markets, products, and customers to boost market share.
• Align sales activities with the division’s strategic plan.
• Negotiate pricing and long‑term supply agreements at senior level.
• Deliver value‑added innovation and meet agreed sales volumes and profitability targets.

Required profile

• Minimum matriculation qualification.
• Proven track record managing multinational or large regional accounts.
• Experience negotiating high‑value contracts and long‑term agreements.
• Strong commercial acumen with pricing, cost analysis, and profitability management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with senior stakeholders.
