About the role

The Senior Grain Grader supports the Silo Manager in operating the Silo and in grading commodities (grain) in a fair and ethical way. The position is advertised through Joblink Placement.

Key responsibilities

Grade commodities (grain)
Control stock
Manage administration
Comply with safety regulations and food safety standards

Required profile

Grade 12
3 years of relevant experience
A post-matric qualification is an advantage
Completed grain grading courses
Food safety experience is an added advantage
Valid driver's licence
Strong physical health, as the work involves climbing the Silo
Willingness to work long hours

Required skills

Good communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English
Computer literacy (MS Office)
Good interpersonal and administrative skills
